Room was decent for the price. Breakfast was vegan friendly. Free bicycles were a great perk. Allowed an early checkin which I appreciate after a long train ride. Location is super being on the main street with lots of places close by especially with the bicycle.

The staff is super nice and help you a lot. The room is comfortable and clean and there’s also a public space for you to work or drink coffee. The breakfast is not that good but it works

The staff at the hotel was very polite. Especially the guy who met us in the evening. He helped us with our things, opened the door and answered all our questions very friendly.

The location was superb. There were many restaurants and shops nearby. One wouldn’t have to worry about starving or being bored.

Halfway from the train station to the coast, we had 4 pleasant days here, not in the highest season. The free bicycles was a nice extra and we used them to get easily around Hualien and the area. Breakfast was a bit basic but absolutely fine. Lots of options to grab some dinner in any direction on the main road.

The overall experience was good. The only drawback would be the treatment from the two receptionists, especially the first one who greeted us upon arrival. I think they could improve significantly in terms of friendliness and respect for guests. On the other hand, the staff who served us were infinitely friendlier. Otherwise, the hotel is well located, clean, and the breakfast is good. The only drawback I'd mention is that there's no height difference between the shower and the rest of the bathroom, which causes waterlogging, which is very common in Asia. They also offer bicycles for city tours.
